Gun control has been a hot topic in the USA lately thanks to the senseless shootings that have been happening at public places recently.

Students around the country have been protesting that the current Government should do something about guns to prevent more shootings from happening.

While the current Government chooses to ignore the pleas of young people around the country, the protests have been heard by celebrities and other folks.

Taylor Swift is one big celebrity that is choosing to support the "March For Our Lives" campaign.

Swift wrote that she supports the movement over on her official Instagram page. You can see what she had to say down below.

"No one should have to go to school in fear of gun violence. Or to a nightclub.Or to a concert. Or to a movie theater. Or to their place of worship. I’ve made a donation to show my support for the students, for the March For Our Lives campaign, for everyone affected by these tragedies, and to support gun reform. I’m so moved by the Parkland High School students, faculty, by all families and friends of victims who have spoken out, trying to prevent this from happening again."

Taylor Swift isn't the first celebrity to show this amount of support, but it's great to see someone as famous as her donating to the cause.

Swift has always been one of the most charitable celebrities of all time thanks to their donations to many good causes.

Her support has been getting a lot of praise from fans and others that are part of the cause.

Hopefully the current Government at least tries to have some sort of control when it comes to gun ownership in the USA. As for right now, it seems easier to buy guns in the USA compared to other countries around the world...
