Disney and Lucasfilm have released a new look at Star Wars: The Last Jedi.

It's a behind the scenes video where the cast and crew talk a little bit more as to what we can expect to see and hear in Episode VIII. We also get a glimpse on some of the new characters that actors that are appearing too.

Much like with The Force Awakens, director Rian Johnson is going out of his way to make sure there are many practical effects used in the film. We see lots of enormous sets being built plus loads of practical aliens being used.

Many animatronics and puppets have been made to bring a sense of life and realism to the aliens in the movie. I even think there is a casino scene in this movie.

Daisy Ridley (Rey) also says that this movie feels like a standalone story even though it's still part of a trilogy. Rey also dons a Jedi robe so it looks like Luke Skywalker teaches her all of the secrets of the Force.

Carrie Fisher also describes that the movie is about "family". It will be interesting to know if Rey's parents are revealed in this movie.

The video shows both Laura Dern and Benecio Del Toro. Dern is just playing a character in the Resistance while Del Toro's character remains unnamed.

Many suggest that he is playing a bad guy. We might not know who he is until the movie comes out. It might be super interesting if Del Toro's character is linked with Rey or Kylo Ren in some fashion.

Lastly, the film shows Finn and Rose dressing up in uniforms. It looks like they will need to infiltrate an enemy base.

Those two have their own adventure while Rey is separated from them as she is still with Luke Skywalker. You can look at the new video posted below.
