The Smashing Pumpkins have taken to Universal Music Group's Soundcloud account to share Puff Daddy's previously-unreleased remix of "Ava Adore" which is set to appear on the band's upcoming massive reissue of their 1998 album, Adore.

The track's release teases at the trove of content that Billy Corgan and Co. have tucked away in their archives - culminating in a reissue that is not being viewed as a mere cash-grab and one that the band's fan base seems genuinely excited about.

The Adore reissue will span six discs: the original album, a remastered stereo mix and four discs of unreleased tracks from Adore's studio sessions and live performances.

The box set will also include a DVD of footage from the band's 1998 tour.

Puff Daddy's remix strips away most of "Ava Adore's" almost sterile four-to-the-floor dance template and replaces it with swinging organic drum beats and lush orchestration, ending with a result that may not be what you would expect from the clash of these two 90's pop culture titans.
