Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson is always very busy every year releasing multiple movies annually.

While video game movie Rampage is releasing in April, his other film 'Skyscraper' is coming out in July and the first reactions for the film sound positive.

Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson mentioned on his official Facebook page that he was watching the test audience screening the film and their reactions seem great so far. You can read his full statement on the topic posted down below.

"Bit nervous about this one, but staying calm in the pocket. Packed house for an early test screening of SKYSCRAPER. I’m a bit angst because our movie is labeled as a big summer blockbuster, but it’s not a superhero film or based off a video game or ride. Our movie has some dramatic elements, extremely intense action, fire and at its heart and core - my wife and two small children are kidnapped and I won’t back down to save them.

And I’m an amputee. This audience is comprised of families. Every age group: 8-80. This audience has no idea I’m watching with them. Let’s just say when the movie was over, I snuck out to my truck and drove home with a smile. Blown away by their reactions and our test scores. Much more work to be done, but a good first start".

Skyscraper will be one of the more original films out this Summer since it's not based on an existing property or franchise. The film's success solely relies on Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson's star power as an actor.

Johnson has a pretty good track record so far as most of his films have become huge hits.

Only last year's Baywatch movie was a flop mainly because it was R rated and it did not seem as if it was based on the old TV show.

Whether or not Skyscraper can become a hit remains to be seen. It's July 13th, 2018 release date means it's coming out a week after Ant-Man and the Wasp and around two weeks before Mission Impossible: Fallout.

The only major movie releasing on the same day as Johnson's movie is Sony's animated film Hotel Transylvania 3: Summer Vacation. It's likely Sony's film might open at number 1 that week mainly because animated films are more family friendly.
