Pop sensation Shawn Mendes is continuing to rise up the charts with hit after hit and sat down with Ellen DeGeneres to talk about his new tattoo, making memories and what it's like on tour, before performing "Treat You Better."
It looks like Mendes is a ping pong pro, as he lost to DeGeneres backstage, however, he is a pro at making music. DeGeneres said she is so excited for Mendes who started out with Vine videos and is now selling out shows at Madison Square Garden.
Mendes told the host that it was nice because he has everything documented and he can see where he started to where he is now.
DeGeneres said it must be hard when you're constantly working and touring. Mendes agreed that it was but he knew it was the dream. He later on showed off a tattoo of a guitar with multiple odes within it.
Mendes and DeGeneres joked about what song on the new album, Illuminate, was for her. He joked that it was "Treat You Better," which he would later on perform for the crowd.
