Scarlett Johansson Talks Hating "Panties" On The Howard Stern Show

Today on The Howard Stern Show, Howard Stern got a visit from Scarlett Johansson, and things got pretty steamy.

Howard Stern Hates ScarJo

Scarlett Johansson started her conversation with Howard Stern on the topic of her childhood. Johansson explained that her voice kept her from getting jobs when she was younger, and she got a lot of rejections from roles.

Howard explained that he hates the nickname ScarJo. He said that he hates when people combine names. Scarlett explained that she hates the name too. She didn't know where it comes from but she thinks it's obnoxious.

Scarlett Johansson also talked about having to drop her mother as her manager. Scarlett admits that there was a "bumpy patch" at that time, but it worked out fine.

Scarlett Johansson Wants Gordon Ramsey

Scarlett Johansson later explained her public school education. Howard Stern said that he thought that because Scarlett was in movies and "you were hot," she'd be really popular.

Scarlett questioned the "hot" part, but explained that she was a tag-along with the popular girls in school. She says she likes bitchy girls.

Howard then asked Scarlett if she's a workout maniac.

Scarlett said that she likes to keep herself up, and she does a lot of "facial exercises." Scarlett feels that she was lucky that her face remained intact as she got older. She said she's had not facial work.

When Howard asked what kinds of guys Scarlett is into, Scarlett was unsure. Howard suggested Brad Pitt and (yes) Fabio, but Scarlett said she's more into guys like Gordon Ramsey and Anthony Bourdain.

Scarlett Johansson Talks Lost In Translation

Howard Stern then turned the conversation to nudity. He brought up the sexy panties scene from Lost in Translation:

Scarlett said that she hates the word "panties" and refuses to use it.

Howard explained that Sofia Coppola convinced Scarlett to do the scene after Sofia did it herself and showed it to Scarlett. Scarlett explained that that story is not at all true.

Scarlett explained that doing the movie was hard -- especially working with Bill Murray. She says that she felt isolated, and it was hard for her to relate to Bill.

Scarlett Johansson and Howard Stern Talk Nude Pics Hack

Howard Stern brought up the nude pics hack from several years ago, when Scarlett Johansson's private photos were distributed online.

Scarlett said it was "devastating." She said it is particularly hard for famous people because she wonders "what more can I give you?"

Another question from Howard was about rejection: Scarlett explained that she has been rejected by guys, but she was "totally flabbergasted" because she is a very competitive person.
