Lifetime is preparing to release the "unauthorized story" of the Saved By The Bell crew. Zack, Kelly, A.C, Jessie, Lisa, and yes, even Screech are all dramatized in this behind-the-scenes movie re-boot.

The preview was put out last week and features some pretty raw actors and actresses portraying the 90's teen sensations. Our guess is that LIfetime had a pretty small budget for this one.

At the same time, there is serious charm in this portrayal. If you have any nostalgia for the show, this will be a must-watch. There have been a number of books written about the behind-the-scenes drama, most notably 'Behind the Bell' released by Dustin Diamond (Screech).

So there are certain perspectives available to draw from. At the same time, the movie is already getting push back from the original actors, most notably Dennis Haskins who played Mr. Belding. He is quoted by TMZ saying:

"I was there. I know what happened and what didn't happen," Haskins said.

"There wasn't time for a lot to happen behind the scenes, because the kids went to school in the morning, then I came in at noon, and went to work in the afternoon. They were in and out of school."

So just like the cast themselves, the drama is already beginning on this one. The movie is set to air on Labor Day at 9pm on Lifetime.

Check out the trailer which has already been viewed a half a million times. Conclusion so far? They really need a better Zack.
