Last night, the Manchester UK arena was attacked by a suicide bomber. The attack occurred during an Arianna Grande concert. The attack took place at the end of the concert.

The attack killed at least 22 people, and injured many more. U.S. President Donald Trump called the bomber an "evil loser." ISIS has claimed responsibility for the attack, although it's not clear if they had a direct role.

CBS News is confirming that the suspected attacker was Salman Abedi. Abedi is in his early 20s.

Originally, CBS had reported that the arrested suspect was Abedi; however, that was corrected in a later tweet.

Abedi was known to UK intelligence and Manchester police.

There are photos going around on the Internet of a man in a mosque purported to be Abedi. That is not the same person.

There was an arrest made last night right outside of Manchester Arena. There was a video posted of the arrest. This is not Salman Abedi, but it is unclear if the person who was arrested is related to him.

Salman Abedi Twitter

We have not found a Twitter that belongs to Salman Abedi. There are several twitter accounts with Abedi's name, but it appears that none of them are of the same person.

There is a Salman Abedi matching the suspect's name and age in the Manchester M14 voter rolls, which can be found at 192.com. The house, which is listed as Abedi's address in the voter rolls was searched today:

Abedi has two known relatives in Manchester. It has not been independently confirmed that this is the same person.
