Due to Zack Snyder bowing out of the Justice League movie due to his daughter committing suicide, The Avengers director Joss Whedon has stepped in to finish it off.

Well now it looks like major reshoots are happening that is set to occur for the rest of the Northern Hemisphere summer.

This new rumor comes from Batman-On-Film as a reliable source has told the website that reshoots have currently commenced in London and they are "significant".

The reshoots are expected to take place in June, July and possibly August. The source says the reshoots shouldn't be taken as a negative thing because it's to ensure they make the best film possible.

Extensive reshoots shouldn't be seen as a bad sign because Disney did the same thing with last year's Star Wars: Rogue One.

That movie ended up doing really well grossing over $1 billion at the Box Office last Holiday season. Reshoots are usually supposed to improve on a film rather than make it worse.

Not to mention Whedon directed the excellent The Avengers back in 2012 which is still the highest grossing superhero movie of all time.

Avengers: Age of Ultron was okay, but wasn't as well received as its predecessor which is why Whedon is working with DC/Warner Bros. now.

The Justice League movie will be out on November 17th, 2017 and will see the likes of Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, The Flash and Cyborg teaming up for the very first time on the big screen. Let's hope the movie is good.

Wonder Woman is a sign that the DCEU is able to make a good movie if a great director is behind the helm.

Hopefully Whedon is able to deliver the good with the scenes that he is working on this Summer.
