The Rotten Tomatoes Rating For Solo: A Star Wars Story Is Now Here

Deadpool 2 is not the only big movie to be released in May because later this month Disney will be releasing Solo: A Star Wars Story. Star Wars movies are usually rated well by critics, but do they still like Solo?

Star Wars: The Last Jedi has a healthy 91 percent rating on Rotten Tomatoes, although it got divisive opinions by average movie goers.

While we still have to wait for the public to see Solo: A Star Wars Story, the critics have seen it and it looks like many of them like it.

As seen on Rotten Tomatoes, Solo: A Star Wars Story currently has a decent Rotten Tomatoes rating of 72 percent as of time of writing.

This makes it the lowest rated Star Wars movie since The Force Awakens, but it's still high enough to be certified 'fresh' from the aggregate website.

Currently, 53 reviews are fresh with only 21 reviews being rotten. The average score of the movie is 6.4/10 meaning lots of critics scored the film a 3/5 stars. You can look at the critics consensus posted down below.

"A flawed yet fun and fast-paced space adventure, Solo: A Star Wars Story should satisfy newcomers to the saga as well as longtime fans who check their expectations at the theater door."

It sounds like most critics agree that it's a fun heist movie that gives us lots of surprises and Easter Eggs for fans to see.

Many people also like the cast especially Donald Glover who plays the character of Lando Carlrissian.

In contrast to that, there are some critics that don't like the movie. They feel the pace is quite slow and that the overall experience is average.

Most Star Wars fans won't know what the film is like until it releases on May 25th, 2018. It will be interesting to see if the public agrees with the critics this time around.
