The Rotten Tomatoes Rating For The Incredibles 2 Flies Out

We may have had to wait 14 years in order to see a sequel to The Incredibles, but it sounds like the long wait has been worth it.

The review embargo for The Incredibles 2 has been lifted and it looks like a majority of critics are loving the movie so far.

As you can see on Rotten Tomatoes, the current rating for The Incredibles 2 is an astounding 95 percent as of time of writing. This almost matches the 97 percent rating that the original got back in 2004.

So far the sequel has received 41 fresh/positive reviews and only two rotten/negative reviews. The average score of the film stands at 8.1/10 meaning lots of reviewers would have given it 4/5 stars.

"Incredibles 2 reunites Pixar's family crimefighting team for a long-awaited follow-up that may not quite live up to the original, but comes close enough to earn its name."

The Incredibles 2 will be released on June 15th, 2018 in North America. The movie is expected to make anywhere between $130 to $150 million in its opening weekend later this week.
