The Rotten Tomatoes Rating For Deadpool 2 Is Here

The review embargo for Deadpool 2 is already lifted and many film critics have rated it.

It looks like 20th Century Fox is on to another crowd pleasing movie and the film should do well at the Box Office later this weekend.

If you go and visit Rotten Tomatoes, you can see that the rating for the film is at a healthy and fresh 84 percent. This is the same rating that Avengers: Infinity War currently has with critics too.

The average score for the film is 7.1/10 meaning many reviewers have given the movie a 3.5 or 4 stars. The rating and score could change, but things look great now with 52 fresh reviews and only 10 rotten reviews.

The 84 percent score is in line with the 83 percent rating the first movie got back in 2016. You can read the critical consensus for the film posted down below.

Though it threatens to buckle under the weight of its meta gags, Deadpool 2 is a gory, gleeful lampoon of the superhero genre buoyed by Ryan Reynolds' undeniable charm.

As of this week, it looks like the film is on track to open very well at the Box Office later this weekend.

It's currently expected the film will open between $130 to $150 million this weekend which is impressive for a film that is rated R.

The only thing that might stop its momentum is its second weekend. This is because next week, Disney is launching Solo: A Star Wars Story which is also a big blockbuster trying to attract a similar type of audience.
