Next week Diego Luna will be celebrating the release of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, in the meantime, the actor paid The Ellen Show a visit and wasn't prepared for the throwback photos they had dug up.

DeGeneres congratulated Luna on his Vanity Fair magazine cover and said it wasn't his first cover. Then, out of nowhere, she shared a very old photo of a young Luna gracing the cover of another magazine.

He was instantly shocked and joked that you try to run away from your past and cross the border to try to avoid going back to that. DeGeneres said he was adorable and is still adorable now.

Luna has an upcoming birthday on December 25 and said growing up he never really got celebrated because people were either celebrating Christmas or New Year's.

Luna always wanted an electric car to drive in the yard but his father always told him "they don't do them in Mexico." The actor also talked about playing a rebel who is part of a team that is trying to extract the Death Star blueprints.

You can watch the rest of Luna's chat with Ellen DeGeneres in The Ellen Show video below. Rogue One: A Star Wars Story opens on December 16.
