The first guest star that is coming to the Auckland Armageddon Expo has finally been announced and it's Alan Tudyk how voiced the character of K2-S0 in Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.

He is also famous for being in the short lived Firefly TV show many years ago too.

The official Armageddon Expo Facebook page made the announcement earlier today. You can read the full announcement posted down below.

"GUEST ANNOUNCEMENT – ALAN TUDYK: Star of Serenity, Rogue One, Wreck It Ralph and so much more ALAN TUDYK is coming to #AUCKGEDDON 2018! Get your tickets for Auckland from August 1st! Join the Auckland Armageddon 2018 - Auckgeddon Facebook event to keep up with all the latest announcements!!"

Firefly fans should be happy because Nathan Fillion also appeared at last year's event. Hopefully even more Firefly stars come to New Zealand as the show has a huge cult following.

He is the first of many movie and TV stars that will be attending the annual pulp culture event.

Other guests will be announced in the coming weeks and months and they have starred in the likes of Harry Potter, Supernatural and more.

When more announcements are made, we'll be sure to let you know. The Auckland Armageddon Expo is the biggest event of its kind in New Zealand as it always attracts special guests from all around the world.

This year's event takes place on October 19th until October 22nd at the ASB Showgrounds in Auckland, New Zealand. Details will be posted later on which specific days Alan Tudyk is attending.
