Deadpool took the world by storm when the first movie came out back in February 2016. Now we have Deadpool 2 and arguably it's a bigger, funnier and better movie overall.

While I did like the first Deadpool movie, I felt many of the jokes didn't land for me. Not to mention the movie lacked action due to it having a lower budget.

Thankfully, Deadpool 2 has a much bigger budget and the action is ten times better than it was in the first movie.

It's not just Deadpool that sees a lot of action because Domino and Josh Brolin's Cable also have awesome fight scenes in the movie too.

I also thought Deadpool 2 has a more unique plot that is similar to the Terminator series.

Without giving away too many spoilers, Cable travels back to the past to try and kill a young mutant named Russell Collins. Deadpool has vowed to save Russell from Cable and the fight begins!

There are more layers to the story, but I cannot talk about them without giving away major spoilers. All I'll say is that the story is more engaging than the predictable revenge plot that was in the first movie.

While Deadpool 2 has a lot of action, it isn't shy on the jokes either. In my opinion, the jokes are far funnier than in the first movie.

My favorite scene in the movie involved the X-Force parachuting. That's all I'm going to say.

It's also worth mentioning Deadpool 2 has the best post credit scenes I have ever seen. Sure Marvel Studios may have popularized post credit scenes, but Deadpool 2 has the best ones you will ever see.

In terms of acting, Ryan Reynolds is still as funny as ever playing Deadpool while Zazie Beetz's Domino and Josh Brolin's Cable are the most likable supporting characters/actors.

I also loved Julian Dennison as Russell Collins mainly because he was allowed to keep his unique New Zealand accent for the role.

The movie also has a lot of cameos that you will not expect to see. One cameo is so secretive, I completely missed it until I read it online after watching the movie!

The only flaw that I can think of is that one scene drags on far too long near the end.

Other than that one scene, the rest of the movie is an enjoyable blast that will please comic book movie fans all over the world.

If you love big action, funny comedy and comic book movies, then you will love Deadpool 2.

It's better than the first movie in my opinion, and I cannot wait for another Deadpool movie to be made in the near future if it happens.

Verdict: 4.5/5.0 stars
