Unlike AAA video games, big blockbuster movies are usually always on schedule. Fans of Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson will be happy to know his Rampage movie has finished production so it will meet its April release date.

The Rock confirmed the end of production on Rampage via his official Facebook page. You can read his full announcement on the topic posted down below.

"It’s official. After years of work, our #RAMPAGE movie is finalized and ready to be shipped to theaters all around the world. Making and delivering a movie of this scale personifies what true TEAM WORK is all about. Here are just a few of the thousands who have given tireless effort on Rampage. Take a bow my friends and THANK YOU for all your brilliant hard work on behalf of our film. Can’t wait for the world to have some fun!"

The Rock's film career has been very successful ever since he left the WWE in favor of Hollywood. He is the biggest and most famous actor working in Hollywood right now.

However, Rampage's Box Office potential might be challenged thanks to the new release date for Avengers: Infinity War. The third Avengers film now has a release date of April 27th, 2018 in North America.

This means Rampage can only rule the Box Office for seven short days when it comes out on April 20th, 2018.

The second weekend drop off could be very steep for The Rock since Infinity War is tracking to gross north of $200 million in its opening weekend.

That said, The Rock's Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle managed to gross a lot of money even though it released around a week after Star Wars: The Last Jedi.

It will be interesting to see if Rampage is able to have similar success, although the chances might seem unlikely unless the release date is pushed further away from Infinity War.
