When it comes to music, President Barack Obama has been pretty open about his taste in music and expressed his appreciate for Kendrick Lamar.

He recently tweeted his summer 2016 playlist and while Lamar doesn't make the cut, Jay Z, Chance The Rapper, Wale and many more artists made the cut.

There are two playlists, one for the evening and one for the day time. So, if you happen to go with the mood and tone of the moment, you'll probably love how these are laid out.

The genre ranges from pop to hip-hop with Janet Jackson and Common making the list as well.

Of course the POTUS is also a fan of the classics so there is no surprise that Miles Davis' "My Funny Valentine" and the Beach Boys "Good Vibrations" among many other classics, made the cut.

There is some pretty awesome diversity on the list which is pretty much what you would expect from President Obama anyway. You can check out the tweet from President Obama below along with our full list of the tracks.
