PewDiePie Announces Fan Fiction Contest

Famous YouTube gaming star PewDiePie took to his channel on Wednesday afternoon to announce a fan fiction writing contest. The contest will be sponsored by Mountain Dew.

"Fan Fictions in general just makes me feel like [insert intelligible gurgling], so it makes perfect sense for me to do this," PewDie said.

He's calling upon all of his bros to submit their best fan fiction, and can do between January 7 and January 30, 2015.

The contest is open for international residents, but to submit, you must be 18 or older, or age of majority in your country.

You can submit your entries at pewdiepie.com/fanfiction. Writers choose from three categories: Action, Comedy, or Horror.

"You can add any guest talent or props that you can find in the list from the submission portal," PewDie said. Guest characters can include: PewDiePie's girlfriend Marzia, Cry, Markiplier, UberHaxorNova, and Martyn Littlewood.

Supporting characters and props can include: Mountain Dew, STEPHANO!, Mr. Chair, Barrels, Jennifer, Skully, Torchy, The Bro, and Teleporting Naked Guys, or any one other of your choosing.

There are only two rules for the contest:

1. Entries can only be a maximum of 500 words.
2. Each person can submit a maximum of 5 entries.

Three fan fiction stories will be chosen as winners, and animated to appear on PewDiePie's channel. The episode will be ready to premiere "sometime in May," according to PewDiePie.

"You basically have golden opportunity to troll the hell out of me now," Pewds said.
