We can always count on Internet superstars and gamers PewDiePie (Felix Kjellberg) and JackSepticEye to turn a government-funded simulation learning game into something actually awesome and fun.

The project began with the intentions of supporting STEM education, and the premise of the game surrounds exploration of the lunar surface.

Players seeks to gain insight on colonization, compile research, and explore the Moon. (Because if you're on the Moon, you might as well look around a bit.)

PewDiePie and JackSepticEye are astronauts based out of a small outpost on the south pole called, adequately, Moonbase Alpha, and give a resounding amount of zero f***s about NASA's goal for STEM education.

They have a grand ole time playing with the chat box, which will translate anything you type into robot voice. Key phrases include "buttcheeks", "i love when you talk dirty to me", and "UUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUH."

Poods and Jacksepticeye bopped around the Moon, semi-literally, finding tools, welding, and doing their version of fixing things.

"What're you doing with that pipe!?" Jacksepticeye asked, as PewDiePie flung around a white piping material.
"I don't know. It's a space pipe. I think it's an alien," Poods said. "I think it's trying to kill me."

One portion of the moon base was leaking a dangerous chemical, so Poods and Jacksepticeye had to build robots to scope out the sitch.

"It is Wall-E," Poods observed. And they ran around as robots for a while, removing things, and starting robot wars until they ran out of power.

Though, in the end, they completed the mission, and saved all of mankind. But were never seen again. "The bros and laddies were forever heartbroke," Robot voice said. "But they will 5ever remember their bravery."

RIP Astronauts Pewds and JackSepticEye. Maybe you can find their lonely robotic corpses if you download Moonbase Alpha for yourself at Steam.
