Peaches Geldof's Death In April Confirmed As Heroin Overdose

Model Peaches Geldof died of a heroin overdose according to the NYDailyNews.com.

"The model daughter of rocker Bob Geldof died of a heroin overdose in her spare bedroom amid a clutter of syringes, a British coroner said Wednesday, while her infant son crawled about for as long as 17 hours until someone found him," reported the NYDailyNews.com.

The 25 year-old model took a fatal dose of heroin back in April and according to the article, she was 11 when her mother overdosed.

The article also eerily mentions that her younger sister Tiger Lily, who was 4 at the time, was found playing alongside her dead mother's body.

Her father Bob Geldof, is at the 20th International AIDS Conference fighting against a disease that can be contracted through needles such as those used by to inject dugs his daughter fell victim to a drug overdose.

He has now become an advocate for the fight against the disease and is pushing for funding to help the fight against AIDS.
