After selling out shows across the globe, Arkansas Doom Metal band Pallbearer has extended their North American tour in support of their fantastic new album, Foundations of Burden.

The second leg of the tour begins December 2nd and will take the band through the West Coast and Midwest. Support will come from Solstafir and Mortals.

Foundations of Burden debuted on the Billboard chart at number #85 after its release three weeks ago.

An impressive accomplishment for any metal band; never mind one of the Doom Metal sub genre, which is known for its plodding tempos, monolithic walls of noise, and generally exclusive and pretentious fan base.

Foundations of Burden refuses to be tied down by Doom Metal's more inaccessible facets, sounding both crushingly massive and downright...pretty... at the same time.

With their richly layered guitar harmonies and slightly Ozzy Osbourne-ish vocals, Pallbearer created an album that pretty much any music fan could find something to like about, whether they prefer obscure cassette-only Black Metal demos or Led Zeppelin IV.

Foundations of Burden is out now on Profound Lore
