Jon Flatt, co-founder and former CEO of Red McCombs Media (RMM Online), has launched of NewsTunez.com, a new algorithmic music platform which provides musicians a revenue-generating resource based on critical news stories of the day.

NewsTunez combines topic-based news articles with powerful songs about those subjects, offering artists and users a unique interactive medium for discussion.

"NewsTunez.com will be unlike anything ever seen before," says Flatt, "NewsTunez' creation of a song algorithm and song tag matching technology presents a real opportunity for artists at any level to create a digital footprint for individual songs.

We will focus on meaningful content. What upworthy.com has done for news, NewsTunez will do for music and news, changing the world one song at a time."

Join the discussion by going to www.newstunez.com, where you can purchase music, read and comment about subject matter directly with the artists and others on NewsTunez and across many social media websites.

NewsTunez is currently accepting submissions from artists of all stripes. Go to http://www.newstunez.com/artist-music-submit/ to join this platform and ally your songs with specific topics in a unique new way, and to encourage debate about current events.
