New Poll Suggests Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson Will Beat Donald Trump In 2020 Election

It goes without saying that Donald Trump has been the most controversial President of the United States of America in recent memory.

Even though Trump may have won over Hillary Clinton, the man may not win if Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson decides to run for the position in 2020.

According to a recent poll done by Public Policy Polling, it shows that the majority of Americans would prefer Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson as the President over Donald Trump.

It even showed that 15 percent of people that voted for Trump in 2016 would defect and vote for The Rock in 2020.

In a total poll, 42 percent of people would vote The Rock over the 37 percent for Trump.

This is mainly because The Rock is quite favorable with both Democrats and Republicans. The Rock could run as an independent or Democrat if he chooses to run for the Oval Office in 2020.

The talk of The Rock being President isn't just theoretical talk either.

Dwayne Johnson himself entertained the idea with a recent interview with GQ. Johnson also chose not to endorse Trump or Clinton last year as he said he didn't want to influence public opinion too heavily to one side.

It's three more years until 2020 so it will be interesting to see what happens. As of right now, The Rock is still a huge movie star.

He is starring in Baywatch out later this month and Jumanji 2 is releasing this December.

In the near future, he is also starring in Rampage based on the video game as well as Shazam from DC. If The Rock decides to be President, he may have to give up starring in movies since he won't have time to do both jobs at once!
