The New Avengers: Infinity War Trailer Is The Most Watched Of All Time In 24 Hours

It has only been over 24 hours since Marvel released the first epic trailer for Avengers: Infinity War. Well the trailer has easily become the most watched one in its first 24 hours.

Marvel Studios made the big announcement on its official Twitter page.

Avengers: Infinity War beat the likes of The Fate of the Furious, Beauty and the Beast, Star Wars: The Force Awakens and Thor: Ragnarok to claim the new record. Their announcement can be seen down below.

Thank you to the best fans in the universe for making @Avengers #InfinityWar the most viewed trailer of all time with 230 million views in 24 hours! See you all May 4th

The number includes all views from various social media platforms. I first watched it on YouTube and it has already amassed over 50 million views. It has a positive reaction too with over 2 million likes and only 30,000 dislikes.

This movie is huge because Marvel Studios has been building up to this film for ten long years.

The main villain of Thanos was teased way back in 2012 during the credits of the first Avengers movie. He then appeared in Avengers: Age of Ultron and Guardians of the Galaxy, but in minor roles.

Infinity War is supposed to mark the end of the first phase of Marvel heroes and characters. Phase 4 will start after the release of the fourth Avengers movie out in 2019 which will bring us even more new characters and stories.

It will be interesting to see how popular Infinity War is compared to Star Wars.

Both Disney products have dominated popular culture over the last couple of years. It could have a chance of breaking The Force Awakens' $247 million opening weekend record come May 4th, 2018 when it comes out in North America.
