The hit TV show Modern Family is coming off another successful season and one of its stars Jesse Tyler Ferguson stopped by the Ellen Show to talk about his marriage and also played a game of Pitch, Please with Ellen DeGeneres.

DeGeneres congratulated Ferguson on another successful season and said that Modern Family continues to be such a funny and heartwarming show. Ferguson says he likes it a lot and he feels very fortunate.

Ferguson and DeGeneres talked about why she was unable to attend his co-star Sofia Vergara's wedding and that she was missed. Ferguson did a little Vergara impersonation which DeGeneres thought was a german accent instead of Colombian.

Meanwhile Ferguson talked about being married to a younger man and celebrating their birthdays together. Ferguson says it was like a wedding without the speeches.

Both DeGeneres and Ferguson agreed that they don't need gifts but it's nice to receive them.

DeGeneres and Ferguson revealed that Usher brought her a tree and a plaque for her party, making Ferguson feeling a bit inadequate about his gift.

Ferguson is doing a one-man show on Broadway called "Fully Committed," where he plays 40 different characters.

The show will be running all summer. You can watch Ferguson's interview and game of Pitch, Please from the Ellen Show in the videos below.
