YouTube celebrity and entrepreneur Michelle Phan posted a new video to her YouTube channel on Monday with a "happy birthday" to her make-up product sample company, Ipsy, which turned three years old this year.

"Looking back, I just think it's been such an amazing journey," Phan says in her video. Phan began a personal make-up tutorial blog in 2005.

After her videos began to go viral in 2009-2010, earning her millions of subscribers, she founded Ipsy. In 2014, Phan was nominated for a Teen Choice Award for Choice Web Star in both the "Female" and "Fashion/Beauty" categories.

"I think my favorite part about all of this is knowing that we have a real family," Phan says.

"This video was really a way for me to show you how thankful and grateful we all are, including myself." Phan could hardly believe that the company would have grown so big in three years.

"It just goes to show you, if you have an idea, and an amazing team, you can make anything happen," she says.

If you're wondering what exactly ipsy is, Phan describes it as "a beauty community that's free to join, and if you happen to pay $10 a month, you get these glam bags." "Glam bags" are goodie bags send to your door each month filled with 4-5 full size and deluxe size beauty products.

As an "ipster," you also get access to complimentary tutorial videos that detail how to use your new products.

Congratulations, Michelle!
