A new video has surfaced on YouTube of a man giving high fives to those trying to attract a cab in New York City.

As you wait for a cab in the heart of New York city you raise your hand to draw attention and though you may not get a cab right away you will receive a high five from a bearded man with a mauve shirt and black snapback hat, Meir Kalmanson.

"Brooklyn, New York, resident Meir Kalmanson, an actor and filmmaker," according to The Huffington Post, "prides himself on being able to brighten the lives of the people around him -- even if he doesn't know them personally."

Strange as it may seem a lot of people enjoyed the sentiment as the bearded man delivers his high fives then high tails it running down the streets of NYC. There have been all types of viral videos that surface but this might be the one that gives the viewer that uplifting spirit and hopefully make them want to run outside and give someone a high five.

The caption on the video doesn't say much but it reads, "The title says it all Smile.... Subscribe... Pass it on." This video is simple and short running under a minute and 30 seconds.

It's not meant to be annoying though some people faked out Kalmanson as he tried to spread the love. It's purpose looks to make the viewer smile in hopes to have a better day.
