While details about Star Wars: Episode 9 are quiet the moment, there have been some clues to what the movie will be about.

Mark Hamill posted a small tease on his Twitter account today that might make some Luke Skywalker fans happy.

Bear in mind, this article will be talking about major spoilers for Star Wars: The Last Jedi. If you have not seen the movie yet, I advise you to read something else.

Anyway, in Star Wars: The Last Jedi Luke Skywalker used all of his energy to save The Resistance from Kylo Ren and his army. Sadly, he used up too much energy that he fades away and presumably dies.

Now Mark Hamill posted the tweet you see below teasing the return of Luke Skywalker in Star Wars: Episode 9 in some capacity. Hopefully this means Luke Skywalker will still have a decent role in the next film.

It's expected Luke Skywalker will be back as Force Ghost to teach some lessons to Rey who is now the only Jedi left in the galaxy.

After all, both Yoda and Obi-Wan did the same thing in the original trilogy teaching Luke the ways as the force as ghosts.

Killing off Luke in Star Wars: The Last Jedi was seen as a controversial move considering Episode 9 is still left to come out in 2019.

Episode 9 will now have none of the original trio with the Han Solo character dead too and Carrie Fisher passing away in real life.

It will be interesting to see how Episode 9 director and writer JJ Abrams manages to convince older fans to see the new film.

As of right now, it looks like Episode 9 will only focus on the newer characters that were introduced in 2015's The Force Awakens.
