Recently Mark Hamill has been vocal about Luke Skywalker's direction in Star Wars: The Last Jedi. Well now it seems as if Hamill has changed his tune a little bit and praises director Rian Johnson's work on the new film.

Mark Hamill expressed his true feelings about Star Wars: The Last Jedi and Rian Johnson on a post he made on Twitter. You can read what he had to say in the post below.

I regret voicing my doubts & insecurities in public. Creative differences are a common element of any project but usually remain private. All I wanted was to make good movie. I got more than that- @rianjohnson made an all-time GREAT one! #HumbledHamill

A few weeks ago, Hamill says The Last Jedi version of Luke is more like a different character. He said he approached the role as if he character was called 'Jake Skywalker' instead.

That being said, Hamill also said the new direction was great because having an old giy teaching young people about the Force is something we've already seen before.

If you have seen The Last Jedi, you'll know how different Luke is compared to the original trilogy.

Despite the divisive opinions people have about the movie, The Hollywood Reporter notes it is still on track to gross close to $1.6 billion at the worldwide Box Office.

Sure this is down from the $2 billion that The Force Awakens received, but it's still a good number considering all the feedback that the movie is getting from certain fans.

Star Wars fans have more to look forward to with Solo: A Star Wars Story releasing in May 2018 and then Episode IX coming out in December 2019.

Not to mention a new trilogy and more standalone movies are also in the works.
