Mario Lopez appeared on The Howard Stern Show Tuesday morning to talk about his new memoir, Just Between Us, a revealing memoir including stories from Saved By The Bell and his past relationships.

"A lot of people tried to discourage me," Lopez said.

"I turned 40, and I think that's an important time in a man's life when he should pause and reflect on how he got there and make a mature plan for the future, and I thought what better way than to write it down."

Before his stint on Dancing With the Stars, and show on Extra TV, Mario Lopez got his start on the television sitcom Saved By The Bell.

"Let's be straight," Stern said, "Didn't you have sex with all three of the girls on Saved By The Bell?" Lopez denies this is true, but secrets from his days on the show include his "sexual relations" with Tiffany Amber Thiessen. "We were in a relationship," Lopez confirms.

According to Lopez, it was an agreeable break up. "We were friends before, and we're friends now."

Lopez also dished on co-star Dustin Diamond, who played Screech on Saved By The Bell, and whom Lopez didn't get along with as well. "He was nerdy, and would leave polaroids of his genitals around the set," Lopez wrote.

Lopez didn't hold back when he was writing Just Between Us, and according to him, was very therapeutic. "When you're going to do this kind of you thing, you have to put it all out there," he said.

"Mario's got some story," Stern said. Read it in full in Lopez's new memoir, Just Between Us, available now.
