CMT first announced its NEXT WOMEN OF COUNTRY initiative in January 2013, and has since become a franchise dedicated to spotlighting the new generation of signed and unsigned female artists across CMT platforms and at NextWomen.CMT.com.

The four-webisode series features Hale in her hometown of Memphis, Tenn., and takes the viewer behind the scenes for the making of the brand new video for her latest single, "Lie A Little Better," also revealing the story behind the song.

The remaining three webisodes will premiere on Wednesday, July 30; Friday, August 1; and Wednesday, August 6, and will be available on LucyHale.CMT.com.

The exclusive world broadcast and online premiere of Hale's video for "Lie A Little Better" hits CMT and MTV Tuesday, July 29. Fans can catch the video at LucyHale.CMT.com.

"Lie A Little Better" comes from Hale's debut album, "Road Between." Directed by Philip Andelman, the video for "Lie A Little Better" was shot on location in June at Nashville's Grand Ole Opry House.

The video can also be found on the CMT Artists App and the network's 24/7 digital music channel, CMT Pure.

The video premiere will be promoted across all of CMT's digital platforms, including CMT.com, CMT App, CMT Mobile, CMT Radio Networks and to the network's more than 11 million social media fans.

Later this month, Clear Channel will host an exclusive performance featuring Hale on the Honda Stage at the iHeartRadio Theater Los Angeles. Fans can visit iHeartRadio.com or the Honda Stage on Thursday, July 31 at 10 p.m.

EDT to watch the event hosted by CMT personality Cody Alan. Hale's set will include a live performance of "Lie A Little Better" and a question-and-answer session discussing her new music.

The Memphis-born-and-raised 24-year old singer and actress first started singing along with the radio to her favorite Martina McBride, Faith Hill and Shania Twain songs. While Hale made her mark early on as an actress, best known for her role on the hit ABC Family drama "Pretty Little Liars," she is eager to share her longtime love for music with her DMG Nashville country debut album, "Road Between," released on June 3.
