Unfortunately for Wolverine fans, Hugh Jackman made his final appearance as the celebrated X-Men character in Logan. However, the fan turnout for the film was incredible, helping Logan top both the domestic and worldwide box offices.

"Fox's Logan starring Hugh Jackman as The Wolverine slices up the competition with a $237.8 million global start with $152 million from 81 international territories combined with a first place $85.3 million debut in North America," according to comScore's Senior Media Analyst Paul Dergarabedian.

The film marked a very emotional goodbye to Jackman as the character.

With a storyline from the Old Man Logan comic series, the entire cast and crew on the film managed to give the mutant what could be considered as the best X-Men movie to date.
