Lionsgate announced today that it has scored 26 Academy Award nominations across four different films, including a record-tying 14 Oscar nods for La La Land, the most for any film.

With La La Land, Hacksaw Ridge and Hell or High Water (in partnership with CBS Films) all earning Best Picture nominations, Lionsgate garnered three of the Academy's nine Best Picture nods.

The 26 overall Academy Award nominations are the most in the Company's history, and La La Land's haul of 14 Oscar nods ties the previous record set by Titanic and All About Eve.

La La Land's record-tying nominations include Best Picture, Best Actor in a Leading Role for Ryan Gosling, Best Actress in a Leading Role for Emma Stone, Best Director for Damien Chazelle, Best Original Screenplay for Chazelle, Best Original Score for Justin Hurwitz, and two Best Original Song nominations for "City of Stars" and "Audition (The Fools Who Dream)."

Critically-acclaimed Hacksaw Ridge received six nominations, including Best Picture, Best Actor in a Leading Role for Andrew Garfield and Best Director for Mel Gibson, while the Company also garnered four nods with partner CBS Films for Hell Or High Water, including Best Picture, Best Supporting Actor for Jeff Bridges and Best Original Screenplay for Taylor Sheridan.

Lionsgate's Deepwater Horizon earned two Oscar nominations for Visual Effects and Sound Editing.

"On behalf of the entire Lionsgate family, we'd like to thank the Motion Picture Academy for recognizing the tremendous accomplishments of the creative talent responsible for these films," said Lionsgate Chief Executive Officer Jon Feltheimer.

"Our 26 nominations are also a testament to the hard work, creativity and willingness to defy the conventional wisdom shown by every Lionsgate employee associated with these movies.

Our success underscores the great diversity of our slate and the strength of our brand."
