If you're a parent chances are you kid going off to college is one of the most never-wracking things you can go through.

However, actress Leslie Mann may have a way to help you feel better. During her visit to The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Mann revealed how she tracks her daughter at college.

Fallon said he met Mann's family backstage and he loved them. Fallon shared a photo of Mann, her husband, Judd Apatow and their two daughters.

The eldest daughter is 18 and off to college at Northwestern in Chicago.

Mann said it was devastating for her when her daughter had to leave. However, things are a bit easier because she has an app on her phone called Find My Friends, which lets her track her daughter.

It all started when she, her daughter and some friends traveled to Glastonbury for a vacation.

Since it was a bit overwhelming, Mann said her daughter let her track her so that she knows where she was.

She doesn't think her daughter and her friends know that she is tracking them, however, it gives Mann a lot of comfort knowing that she is safe.

Mann said her daughter was across the street at a fraternity house at 4 A.M. and she texted her daughter to tell her to go home.

Mann is set to star in the upcoming film, The Comedian, alongside Robert De Niro and Danny DeVito, which hits theaters on January 13.
