Kurt Angle Suggests WWE Should Turn Roman Reigns Heel

For a very long time now, WWE has tried its best to push Roman Reigns as the top babyface (good guy) of the company. However for over two years now, people are still booing him. WWE Hall of Famer. Kurt Angle, suggests that WWE should turn Roman Reigns heel (bad guy) if the fans don't accept him.

Kurt Angle commented on the subject during a recent interview with WTOP. He says he's a fan of Reigns, but he mentions WWE may have booked him wrong. He says WWE fans don't like to see a person get to the top too quickly. He also said Reigns should be a bad guy. His comments can be seen below.

Half the fans love him; half the fans hate him. Same with [John] Cena. When Cena came in, Vince pushed the hell out of him and fans were like, 'Gosh, dang. This guy's invincible. I hate him!' ... If Vince waits it out a bit, fans will start to accept [Roman Reigns], and if they don't, then turn him heel

He says the main issue with Roman Reigns is that he was pushed really quickly since he didn't win a King of the Ring, U.S. Title or Intercontinental Title. He mentions fans usually like it when wrestlers aren't pushed to the top really quick. Aside from maybe Brock Lesnar, most other wrestlers take many years to reach to the top of the main event of the WWE roster. Some wrestlers don't even reach the main event in their entire careers.

Since Roman Reigns retired The Undertaker at WrestleMania 33, the hatred towards Reigns has reached its highest peak. There is probably no chance for the fans to cheer for him ever again. It's best if they turn him heel as it will give his character a fresh start. Some of the reasons why people don't like John Cena is because he's played the same character for 12 years straight!
