Kingsman Star Taron Egerton Wants Dwayne Johnson As The Villain In The Next Movie

The Kingsman franchise has proved to be quite popular with both the first and second movies performing well at the Box Office.

A third one is expected to be made in the near future and star Taron Egerton has expressed interest in getting Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson for a role in the movie.

Taron Egerton spoke with The Hollywood Reporter recently where he talked briefly about his dream casting of putting Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson into Kingsman 3.

He wants Johnson as the main villain of the movie, but he's not sure if Johnson will be getting the part. You can read his comments down below.

I know who the character is and it's nothing like this actor, but I love Dwayne Johnson. I think he's the right fit for it, but the villain role Matthew has described to me is not Dwayne Johnson

It's possible writer and director Matthew Vaughn could re-write the part with The Rock as the villain instead.

That said, Vaughn probably has his mind set on another actor for the role. Like Egerton said, it sounds like the Kingsman 3 bad guy won't be suitable for The Rock unless Vaughn makes some major changes to the character.

I think Johnson has only played a villain three times in his entire movie career. He was a villain in The Mummy Returns, DOOM and Get Smart.

Aside from those movies, he's usually the main good guy star.

However, it will be interesting to see Johnson in a role as a villain again.

The man already knows how to play a bad guy with the years he was a heel when he was wrestling for the WWE many years ago.
