Earlier today Complex brought fans a clip of Kid Cudi in the upcoming film Meadowland. That's not the only piece of Cudi in the film, his music is also featured in the official trailer for the film.

The trailer is pretty dark and represents a relentlessly thought provoking drama. The main character Sarah played by Olivia Wilde embarks on a dark path while, Phil, a police officer played by Luke Wilson has trouble balancing his morals.

The trailer for Meadowland contains Cudi's "Unf**kwittable" track off his Indicud album. The track matches the trippy tone of the trailer perfectly.

Cudi is also a star in the film playing a character named Jason who appears to be a struggling musician. If we know anything about Cudi it's that he's far from a struggling musician with his ever-growing fanbase.

"In the video Phil, an NYPD officer played by Wilson, responds to a domestic disturbance with Cudi's Jason and Juno Temple's Mackenzie," reported Complex, who debuted the Cudi clip.

"Jason is charged up about Mackenzie's apparent infidelity, but keeps the rage (sorry) to a minimum in his interaction with the cop. Instead, he throws barbs at homegirl, setting an awkward scene for Phil while he himself has become unhinged."

After tweeting the trailer earlier today, Cudi addressed a tweet where someone was calling him arrogant. In response Cudi said that there is a difference between arrogance and not giving a f**k about what people think of him and his artistic choices.

Well, it looks like they know were he stands when it comes to their opinions.

Meadowland is scheduled for release on October 16 and also stars John Leguizamo, Giovanni Ribisi, Elisabeth Moss and Ty Simpkins. Meanwhile fans should be awaiting release information from Cudi on his Speedin Bullet To Heaven album.
