We got to thinking that if both Kanye and Drake released their albums in 2016 who would listeners choose to reign supreme? Drake's Views From The 6 has yet to yield an official release date, however, it has been building almost as much hype as Kanye's Swish.

2015 was a big year for Drake who dropped two projects, If You're Reading This It's Too Late and the What A Time To Be Alive collaborative album with Future.

Both of Drake's projects were well receipted and Drake even has a Grammy nomination for his diss track "Back To Back," which literally put Meek Mill out of commission for some time. Drake has even taken cues from Kanye west by starting his own OVO clothing line and opening flagship stores, along with releasing his own color way of an Air Jordan Retro 10.

He's really continuing to grow in multiple facets of the industry and fans are taking notice. Views From The 6 remains one of the most highly anticipated albums but it doesn't seem like fans will be getting the project until 2016.

Meanwhile, after his wife Kim Kardashian West gave birth to his son Saint, Kanye seems to be in a creative mode, one that he doesn't want anyone getting in the way of. The rapper recently let fans know that he was finishing up his album and didn't want to be bother until both his album is finished.

Kanye had given updates on the album prior to that and said that the titled Swish might not actually be the one he goes with.

After he released his single "All Day" fans were holding out hope that the album would be coming soon after. Unfortunately, fans saw the release of a ton of Adidas Yeezy Boosts before the album which has yet to have a concrete release date. With the buzz surrounding the albums and time that both artists have had to put into the projects, hip-hop fans are looking at two potentially monumental releases.

If both projects released in 2016 we want to know who you think would have the upper hand. You can vote in the poll below for Drake, Kanye or comment with other artists.
