Joy Behar reminisced with Howard Stern about 'The View', and the infamous moment when she and Whoopi Goldberg walked off the stage during a talk with Bill O'Reilly.

Stern asked if, after all these years, Behar regretted her decision. "Absolutely not," she said. "He's shameless, he doesn't give a shit. You walk off, you smack him, you tell him he's an ass***, he doesn't care."

Shocked by the move, Stern always wanted to ask why she chose to abandon the interview. "Here's the thing.

There was something propelling my ass out of the seat," Behar said. "I can't even explain it, it was a poltergeist. Some thing pushed me up out of the seat, I couldn't help myself."

Barbara Walters was mad at Behar, but once Walters saw all of the publicity and the ratings increase, all was forgiven. Naturally.

Since Behar has left the show, it's no secret that the ratings of "The View" have dropped significantly. Stern asked if she was happy about that.

"I can't really say that I'm happy," Behar said.

"You don't want to gloat too much, but that happened to me all over the place." Other shows she's been a part of have seen ratings drop after Behar has left.

As of publication, producers at "The View" have not asked Behar to return to the show, and she wouldn't return full time anyway.
