Johnny Depp Talks Pirates of the Caribbean and More On The Ellen Show

Johnny Depp, one of the most transformative actors in the film industry, stopped by The Ellen Show just one week before Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales is set to hit theaters.

The actor chatted about playing the famous Captain Jack Sparrow and more during his visit.

DeGeneres and Depp sat down to talk Pirates and the fact that this will be the fifth installment. Depp said he didn't think he would make it three weeks because he was moving right out of the Disney premise.

Meanwhile, Depp was shocked when DeGeneres said there were rumors of 4 or 5 more installments of the film to come.

The actor said it was great fun to go to the children's hospital in character for a couple of hours and see the reaction from the kids.

Depp said he does as much stupid things as he can to make people laugh because he was once a parent in a hospital and knows part of what the parents go through. He said it was the parents who would fall apart the most.

Meanwhile, Depp said that Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales is the first film that he actually watched. He wanted to make sure that they created the best possible product.
