Comic legend Joan Rivers has been a frequent guest on The Howard Stern Show which make sense because it's one of the few places she can say what she wants without having to pull any punches.

In her latest appearance Monday the comedian and television host spoke about three recent controversies she has been involved in: storming out of a CNN interview, trash talking fellow comedic legend Jerry Lewis, and making statements to TMZ firmly backing Israel.

HowardStern.com detailed her comments. Here are some of the highlights.

JOAN VS. CNN - During a recent CNN interview to promote her new book 'Diary of a Mad Diva', Rivers felt that the whole conversation had become "accusatory." After she was asked why she still wears fur, she stormed off the set.

JOAN VS. JERRY - Jerry Lewis made comments to Maria Menounos at a SiriusXM Town Hall that Joan was the only person whose death would make him happy. Rivers did not pay the comments much heed and more or less laughed them off though Stern joked that talking about Rivers was the first laugh Lewis had ever gotten.

JOAN VS. PALESTINE - Rivers was interviewed by TMZ outside an airport about the conflict in the Middle East. She "likened it to New Jersey lobbing bombs at New York and expressed her outrage that Palestine is digging tunnels and lobbing bombs at private houses," according to Stern's website.

Rivers was on the show promoting her book. She also talked about her failed late night talk show and how it almost led her to kill herself.
