On the Howard Stern Show Monday morning, Jerry Springer confirmed for Stern that the people and stories on his legendary talk show were real.

The Jerry Springer Show (and Steve Wilkos spin-off, The Steve Wilkos Show) has garnered its own attention for being immensely controversial, and drags in a hefty amount of viewership for it.

It's been dubbed the worst show on television by general society.

"It's a circus," Springer said, and as it turns out, the people who appeared on his talk show were honest in their manners and interactions.

The Huffington Post created a list of the "20 Wildest Moments from 20 Years" on the show.

They've collected a whole manner of true life craziness, "from the dude who married his horse and the woman who slept with more than 200 men in less than a day to the scores of 'Jerry' guests who've gotten freaky with their relatives and the even larger group who've necessitated that the Springer show have a sizable budget for guest dental work."

Some of the best, wildest and wackiest moments were "My Husband Left Me For His Sister," "I'm Happy I Cut Off My Legs", and "Kung-Fu Hillbilly."

The show's authenticity has been up for debate since it first broke the scene with rumors about staged fights and actors portraying the crazy characters on the show.

Should we feel happy and relieved, or rather revolted that the people on The Jerry Springer show were, in fact, genuine aspects of humanity?

Springer and Steve Wilkos appeared on the show to celebrate more than twenty years of shenanigans on day time television, and in the name of the greatest reality television show to grace kids home sick from school, let's look forward to twenty more.
