Power Rangers: Shattered Grid is one of the biggest and wildest stories the franchise has ever attempted, which is greatly helped by being in comic book form.

We got a live-action teaser last week that starred Jason David Frank from the classic Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers and more, who now is hoping we might see even more of his new character Lord Drakkon in a potential live action series.

Shattered Grid brings back the previously captured Lord Drakkon, which was an alternate universe version of Tommy Oliver that utilizes a costume that combines the Green Ranger and White Ranger.

As a lead-in to the mini-series, a live action teaser trailer for the event was released on YouTube by Kyle Higgins and Boom Studios that produce the new comics.

This was very well received, leading people to naturally start asking if we might see more, or even a mini-series of some sort on a streaming service.

Jason David Frank actually was asked this exact question in an interview with ComicBook.com, in which he had the following to say about it:

"Everyone's on board to make this awesome trailer slash possible pilot that could be its own show or something. I just want to make it clear before everyone jumps on board. This is a promo for Shattered Grid, but I was hoping to get the attention of fans around the world including the Saban brand and say, 'Hey, look, this could be an awesome Netflix series, this could be a highly talked about series around the world.'"

Seeing this come to fruition in a full series would of course rely on Saban Brands deciding it was worth their while to do as the series Power Rangers Super Ninja Steel is currently airing and Power Rangers Beast Morphers is set to debut in 2019.

As a longtime Power Rangers fan, I would loe to see this as a very interesting take on the characters in live action, though it would be hard to have him actually face the Power Rangers for a lot of them unless they were in costume the entire time.
