James Bond 25 Gets Officially Announced With Director And More

The next entry to the James Bond saga has now been officially announced with Daniel Craig returning to the role for supposedly the very last time.

As expected, the rumors have been true and the movie will be released late next year.

The official James Bond Twitter page announced all of the cool details you need to know about the film so far. You can read the full announcement for the movie posted down below.

"We’ve been expecting you… #Bond25, Daniel Craig’s 5th outing as 007, will be directed by Academy Award-winning Danny Boyle from an original screenplay by John Hodge. Production is set to begin on 3 Dec 2018. MGM will partner with Universal Pictures to release the film worldwide."

As always, the will be multiple different release dates for the movie in several regions.

The UK will be receiving the movie first on October 25th, 2019 while North Americans will have to wait for the film to come out until November 8th, 2019.

You may know Danny Boyle as the director for Slumdog Millionaire as well as Trainspotting. He will work with John Hodge who is a screenwriter that worked on the likes of Trainspotting, The Beach and more.

At this stage, the movie is just known as James Bond 25 and has no official name yet.

We'll probably know more details once the script is finished sometime later this year. It is expected to be the final outing for Daniel Craig's version of the character since he will be replaced by someone younger in the future.
