As some people may know already, Hulk Hogan was fired from the WWE back in 2015 thanks to some mean racist comments he made several years ago during a leaked sex tape that got released to the public.

WWE fired him in order to avoid a big PR disaster.

Over the last three years, WWE has tried to ignore Hulk Hogan by keeping their distance from him.

For a short time in 2015, Hulk Hogan actually received the "CM Punk" treatment where his name and face was not even mentioned in archival footage.

Well it looks like things have toned down and Hogan has mentioned in more than one occasion that he is sorry for the remarks he made against black people back in 2006.

Hogan has tried to come back to the WWE for several years now, but the professional wrestling company kept ignoring him.

However as reported by TMZ, it seems as if WWE officials are now more ready than ever to bring back Hulk Hogan back to the WWE Universe.

The report says that "Hulk and high-ranking WWE officials have been in touch recently and it's been positive".

WWE also gave a statement to TMZ that suggests Hogan has done enough over the past three years to rebuild his tarnished image. You can read what WWE had to say about the Hogan situation posted down below.

"WWE applauds the work Hulk Hogan is doing with Boys & Girls Clubs of America to turn what was a negative into a positive by helping young people learn from his mistake. While he has taken many steps in the right direction since we parted ways, Hogan is not currently under contract to WWE."

WWE is just taking its time because they want to bring back Hogan in the "right way". It will be interesting to see how Hogan will be coming back to the company that first made him a wrestling icon.
