Howard Stern has become an animal activist since he got involved with his wife Beth.

The two have fostered kittens and have raised money for North Shore Animal League where they are working to build a new facility that will allow animals to roam free.

Now, Beth is working to find homes for over a hundred kittens, which are being used in a taping for Hallmark's upcoming Kitten Bowl.

Stern talked about her efforts on the air this week and HowardStern.com has info about the kittens.

"All 102 kittens that appeared in the Kitten Bowl will be up for adoption this Saturday morning (9/13) at the North Shore Animal League America's headquarters in Port Washington, NY," according to the site, which added that kittens will be available in every color and size.

"Adopt and save a life!"

NSAL is one of the premiere pet rescue facilities in the country. Anyone looking to adopt one of the kittens should be prepared to be vetted and should have character references.

Since 1944, North Shore Animal League America has been saving the lives of innocent dogs, cats, puppies, and kittens -- over 1,000,000 to date. Hundreds of pets are available for adoption 365 days a year from 10 a.m.

to 9 p.m. The shelter can be seen online at http://www.animalleague.org/.
