The Howard Stern Show got a little political when Stern fans called in to chat about Meghan McCain--who appeared on the show last week--and possible presidential runner, Chris Christie.

"I think Chris Christie would be a good President," Stern said. "I've met him a few times, and [Meghan McCain] attacked him saying he wasn't a warm guy, and I had the opposite experience."

Christie is the current Governor of New Jersey, and has been cited as thinking about running for U.S. President in 2016. "I happen to think Governor's make better President's than Senator's do," Stern said.

"The reason I said Chris Christie would be good is the same reason Bill Clinton and Hillary Clinton would be a good president," Stern said.

"The three of them have a passion for the job." Stern talked about how Christie was pleasant and nice when Stern had met him, and Christie had left a positive impression.

"I'd have to hear more from him in a debate, but I think he'd be an actual, legitimate candidate.

That's it," Stern said. According to a report from NJ.com, Christie will have an "answer to the 'are you running for president' question by the end of this year or early next year."

In conclusion, Stern made a good point about politics on his show: "Who cares anyway?"
