The Howard Stern SiriusXM radio show returned from their vacation week with a lot to discuss.

Stern wanted to remember Prince, who died the week before the show aired its vacation replays, so he took some time to do so during the return.

"Howard said they were away for a week and people were dropping like flies. Howard said poor Chyna died the Wednesday they left," according to MarksFriggin's rundown.

"Howard said then Prince died and knocked her off the news. Howard said she was getting her own but then it fell off. Howard said he's really weirded out by the Prince thing.

Howard said Gayle King was quoted talking about seeing him at a White House performance. Howard said he died alone in an elevator. Howard said he was all alone."

Stern praised Prince for his musical abilities and also said he put out one of the best films as well, referring to Purple Rain. Stern compared Prince's dancing abilities to that of James Brown and the overall thought that he was gone to the fact that Steve Jobs is also dead.

His comparison comes likely as both men were innovators in their respective fields. At the end of the day Stern said he is very sad about the whole thing.

"Howard said Adam Levine performing 'Purple Rain' hit like 25 million views. Howard said it was fantastic," according to MF.

"Howard said it showed off the talents of Adam Levine and showed how beautifully Prince writes. Howard played some of that performance. Howard said that Prince was only 57 years old and High Pitch Erik is still alive."

Stern revealed that he had been trying his whole career to get Prince on a show but thinks that maybe Prince was scared of him.

Stern really pointed out that Prince had some questionable moves that made him seem liek a "d**k." He went over a little history on Prince and how he was kicked out of the house as a kid.

"Howard said Prince wrote his first song at 7 and taught himself every instrument. Howard said he signed with Warner Brothers when he was a teenager," according to the report.

"Howard said his second album had a hit on it. Howard said his first one didn't do so well.

Howard said the music got dirty and controversial. Howard said he had the song '1999' and 'Little Red Corvette'' on his next album."

Stern was blown away by Purple Rain and really expressed how much her loved both the song and the film. He called Prince the Mozart of our time and referred to him as a musical genius.

Both Stern and Robin Quivers were especially with Prince putting The Revolution together, writing hits for other artists like Sinead O'Connors's "Nothing Compares 2 U" and writing an entire album for the Batman film after only being asked to write two songs.

The Stern Show crew was truly knowledgable when it came to the career of Prince and the tribute was definitely fitting.
