After yesterday's NY Daily News headline slandering Howard Stern as an "idiot" for addressing the Sony Hack as a terrorist attack, Stern has been noticeably upset on the Howard Stern Show.

"This is just the worst kind of journalism," he said, criticizing the editor for failing to use attach his name to the piece, and calling him a coward.

As Stern delved further into the issue, he discovered the original story written by a Daily News reporter wasn't slanderous in any way, but it was changed by a staff editor at the last second before print.

He called Mort Zuckerman--the Editor-in-Chief at the Daily News--but unfortunately, Zuckerman wasn't available. Stern said he wasn't going to be mean, but notify him that this is a play in yellow journalism.

"From what I've read, I don't think Mort Zuckerman would approve of this," Stern said. Stern was very bummed and upset yesterday due to the entire ordeal, and would like to see some justice in place.

Stern stated that he does not hate the Daily News, and believes it's the fault of a rogue editor.

Stern would like to see an apology printed in the paper. According to Stern, he knows he's been mentioning the issue a lot lately, and this will be the last time he talks about the Daily News.
