The video below was posted to the Elite Daily YouTube Channel. Connor Toole is a writer and blogger for Elite Daily.

He also happens to be 6 feet 10 inches tall and has the swagger of a college player entering the 2015 NBA Draft.

He managed to fool fans outside the Barclays Center in New York even before he started the real joke. People went up to him asking for photos and wishing him good luck in the draft.

"Elite Daily Humor Writer Connor Toole, is almost 7 feet tall, has an ill-fitting suit and a beard he didn't trim enough, so we figured he'd fit right in with the players nervously awaiting their fates," read the caption of the video.

"To test this theory, he braved the 15-minute walk from his apartment to the arena to see if he could convince people he was part of this class of untapped potential.

The Utah Jazz may not have actually used their second-round pick to take him 42nd in the draft, but that's the lie we told as many people as possible in New York City last night.

Most of them even believed us."

Last night Karl-Anthony Towns was the number pick in the 2015 NBA Draft going to the Minnesota Timberwolves.

However, the big talk is surrounding the New York Knicks pick of Kristaps Porzingis a power forward out of Latvia. Check out the hilarious video below.
